Aluminium Cladding
Saudi Arabia كلادينج ألمنيوم
Aluminium cladding is an exterior wall system that protects buildings from sun, sand, and rain while providing a modern, attractive finish. Saudi Aluminium Works provides aluminium cladding solutions for commercial, government, healthcare, and residential projects across Saudi Arabia, combining durability, functionality, and contemporary architectural design.
PVDF Coating and Weathering Performance
Aluminium cladding in Saudi Arabia faces some of the harshest weathering conditions anywhere: intense UV, sand abrasion, large daily temperature swings, and salt air along the Gulf and Red Sea coasts. All our panels are finished in-house:
- PVDF coating: 2-coat or 3-coat Kynar 500-based finish for long-term colour retention and gloss stability
- Powder coating: Qualicoat-certified finish for soffits, screens and less exposed areas
- Anodizing: natural metallic finish for coastal projects and solid panels

Types of Aluminium Cladding Panels
FR-A2 ACP Cladding
Our ACP uses an FR-A2 non-combustible core, classified to EN 13501-1 Class A2 and meeting Saudi Civil Defense requirements for high-rise and public buildings. It’s lightweight and flat, and it can be routed and folded into cassettes on site-specific grids.
Solid Aluminium Panels
Solid panels are 3–5 mm aluminium sheets folded into cassettes and reinforced with stiffeners on the back. They resist impact, can be curved or shaped in three dimensions, and contain no core material, so they are fully non-combustible.
Perforated Panels
Perforated aluminium screens reduce solar heat gain on glazing, ventilate car parks and plant rooms, and can carry geometric or Mashrabiya-inspired patterns. Perforation size and open area are designed for each elevation.
Ventilated Rainscreen Facades
Most of our cladding is installed as a rainscreen, also called a ventilated facade. An air gap between the panels and the insulated wall lets hot air rise and escape behind the panels. This keeps the wall cooler, moves moisture out, and reduces the building’s cooling load. That matters in Saudi summers, when exterior surfaces can exceed 70°C.
Our Vision
Subframe and Fixing System
The bracket system and fixing system matter as much as the panel for a long-lasting facade. We design and supply the complete back-up structure:
- Brackets: aluminium wall brackets with thermal isolators, sized for SBC 301 wind loads and wall type
- Subframe: aluminium T and L rails that allow for thermal expansion, set to line and level
- Fixing system: concealed hook-on cassettes, or exposed rivets and screws, depending on design and budget
- Fire barriers: cavity fire breaks at floor lines, as required by Saudi Civil Defense
Our engineers provide calculations for every project: panel deflection, bracket spacing, and anchor pull-out values.
